I'm finally here! And it's 9:30pm on Wednesday, after having left California Tuesday morning at 6am. Well, here's a quick shot from my hotel room in Ikebukuro.
Now I need to go grab something to eat quick before I fall asleep =)
Decided to go get sloshed at an izakaya around the corner. The guy did the obligatory praising of my Japanese (for just putting forth the effort). Ordered a bottle that was WAY too big (I wrote my name on it ... presumably so that they'll save it for me when I come back). I need sleep now ... badly. Hopefully this forced late evening will correct all my jetlag .. now that its 11:30pm here and I'm ready to fall asleep at the drop of a .... *snore*
